The mobile mammography unit is equipped with advanced equipment and a skilled team. It travels around the country – from Dan in the north to Eilat in the south – enabling women to undergo examination in their area of residence.
The examination is free for all women aged 50 and up (once in two years), or for women aged 40 and up (once a year) if they belong to a risk group for breast cancer (if the woman’s mother or sister had breast cancer).
